Mister Supranational 2018: Preliminary Interviews

On Tuesday, December 4th, Hotel Nawigator hosted the preliminary competition for Mister Supranational 2018. In groups of 6 or 7 candidates, all 39 competitors had the opportunity to introduce themselves and say what they should be chosen as the winner. Some candidates also answered eventual questions by the judges. The judges were:

- Katarzyna Lenssinck-Kotyniak, Direct Marketing Manager of Thermaleo 
- Bartek Osumek, Project Manager at Mister Supranational
- Gabriel Correa, Mister Supranational 2017
- Katarzyna Szwed, Project Manager at Mister Supranational 2018
- Katarzyna Niezgoda - Hotel Nawigator Manager

An interpreter was available for those who spoke Spanish and Portuguese, and Misters China, Japan and Myanmar made use of translation apps to better express their thoughts.

On December 1st, 2018, the Preliminary Swimwear and Evening Wear competitions took place at Dworek Goscinny, in Szczawnica, Poland, during a special gala dinner. On the occasion, seven Special Award winners were announced, and they were:

Continental winners will be the highest ranked contestants from each region among those who do not reach the Top 5. Continental titles are: Mister Supranational Africa, Mister Supranational Americas, Mister Supranational Asia, Mister Supranational Caribbean, Mister Supranational Europe, and Mister Supranational Oceania.

Mister Supranational 2018: Mountain Bike challenge in Szczawnica

The 2018 thrity-nine Mister Supranational delegates (yes, Equatorial Guinea has finally arrived!) competed in the 2nd challenge worth a spot in the pageant´s Top 20: the mountain bike challenge in Szczawnica! It wasn´t easy and our young men faced some challenges when giving their best under 0 degree, but we can assure you that they´ve done an impressive job!

The winner of this challenge will advance to the Top 20 on the final event, which will take place in Krynica-Zdrój, on December 8th.

Mister Supranational 2018: after "Caribbean battle", Puerto Rico wins sport challenge

Puerto Rico won the “push-up under zero” challenge and advanced to the Top 20!

Earlier today the 2018 Mister Supranational candidates competed in the first sport challenge, which granted 1 spot for the winner in the Top 20. Our brave delegates were taken to the Rajd Horse Farm, in Szczawnica, where first they got to meet the place´s great horses. Then they were taken outside, at -11 degrees C, for a push-up routine. The last man standing, would take gold!

And one by one they started leaving the competition, until only Curaçao and Puerto Rico, the representatives of two Caribbean islands, were taken to the limit and remained in the game! They were given a few minutes to rest and go for a final dispute, and then, after na incredibly fierce dispute, Puerto Rico emerged as the winner! He is now a Top 20 quarter-finalist in this year´s pageant!

Mister Supranational 2018 starts a record number of candidates and many surprises

It´s that time of the year most male pageant fans from around the globe wait for: the Mister Supranational season! A record number of 39 countries and territories (Ethiopia withdrew from unknown reasons) is taking place in this year´s #1 male pageant, which has started in a new place: charming Szczawnica, Poland.

Most delegates arrived on Sunday (38) and Equatorial Guinea is expected to arrive this Tuesday, completing the “Class of 2018”.

On Monday, November 26th, our young men had a full day of activities, which started out with the official swimwear photos with world famous photographer Raymond Saldana. The candidates wore Self-Collection and were clicked at Modrzewie Park Hotel pool and spa area. Some of them were even lucky enough to get a relaxing massage!

Thailand, Togo and Venezuela enjoyed the spa after their photo session.

After lunch, it was time for a fun Christmas photo shoot at the same Modrzewie Park Hotel , where the Christmas spirit made itself present and our boys had a great time as they were photographed.

México has the smile of a happy child as he enjoys our Supra Christmas!

It was then time to get elegantly dressed for a gala welcome dinner, where they would finally meet the reigning Mister Supranational Gabriel Correa, who had just landed in Poland and said a few words about his experience as Mister Supranational. It took place at the Dworek Goscinny Hotel, where they were treated to a fantastic three-course dinner featuring the delicious Polish cuisine.

On the occasion, they received their official sashes from the hands of the king himself, Venezuela´s own Gabriel Correa.

Mister Supranational Trinidad & Tobago 2018

After two years, Trinidad & Tobago is back competing for the title Mister Supranational. Mister Supranational Trinidad & Tobago 2018 is Suveer Ramsook, 21 years old, 1.85 m-tall, from the city of St. Joseph.

Suveer is a student of underwater studies and works as a commercial diver and professional model.

He enjoys playing cricket and football and has a talent to play Indian music instruments. He dreams of becoming an international model and being an actor.

Trinidad & Tobago completes the field of 40 candidates competing in Mister Supranational this year. The final happens in Krynica Zdroj, on December 8th.

Mister Supranational France 2018

François-Xavier Herard, from Martinique, is Mister Supranational France 2018. He is 25 years old and 1.96 m-tall.

Mister Supranational France is fluent in French and Spanish, and he is pursuing a social and administrative career.

François is passionate about traveling and would like to become Mister Supranational to get the chance to visit as many countries as possible.

Mister Supranational 2018 will be elected on December 8th, in Poland.

Mister Supranational Togo 2018

We are glad to announce that Mister Supranational will have for the first time a representative from the Togolese Republic, or simply Togo. A native of Afagnan, Kwassy Adjamah, 26, 1.76 m-tall, is Mister Supranational Togo 2018.

Kwassy is a student of International Business Development currently residing in Switzerland. He speaks French and Ewe.

He tells us that he has a talent for dancing and singing, and that one of his professional goals is to have his own company within the next decade.

Togo will compete for the Mister Supranational 2018 title from November 25th to December 8th, in Poland.

Mister Supranational Colombia 2018

Andres Mejia Vallejo, 32, 1.79 m-tall, is the first ever Mister Supranational Colombia. Andres was born in Medellin, Antioquia, Colombia, but has been living in the USA for a while.

The Colombian actor, YouTuber and producer, speaks Spanish, English and some Portuguese.

He enjoys dancing, singing and loves to meditate. Ambitious, Mister Supranational Colombia dreams of winning an Oscar someday! He wants to inspire people and make them feel better about themselves.

Andres will compete for the title Mister Supranational 2018 on December 8th, in Krynica Zdroj, Poland.

Mister Supranational China 2018

Cheng Long, 24, 1.83 m-tall, is Mister Supranational China 2018. He hails from Fusong and holds a Master degree in Sports.

The Chinese hunk enjoys playing football, reading and traveling, and his dream is to become a Chinese celebrity internationally, so that he could have a foundation to help animals. He also wants to get married and have many children.

A model and an actor, he is a huge fan of Jacky Chen.

Mister Supranational China will hit the stage on December 8th, in Krynica Zdroj, trying to become Mister Supranational 2018.

Mister Supranational Thailand 2018

Kevin Dasom, 26, 1.88 m-tall, was elected Mister Supranational Thailand 2018. He hails from Chaing Mai and speaks English and Spanish.

The new Mister Supranational Thailand is a basketball athlete who plays the Thai League for the Mono Vampire. He holds a Master Degree in Integrated Marketing.

Coming from a “full house” (he has 10 brothers and sisters!), Kevin plays the guitar and also sings.

He will be in Poland from November 25th competing for the title Mister Supranational 2018. The final happens on a live event on December 8th.

Mister Supranational Philippines 2018

The election of Mister Supranational Philippines 2018 recently took place in Manila. Marco Poli, 25, 1.94 m-tall, born in Udine, Italy, half Fiipino, was the winner of this title.

Marco is a college student and entrepreneur who enjoys playing football and basketball. Coming from a large family, he has 9 brothers and siters!

Mister Supranational Philippines has a talent to sing and enjoys cooking. One day he wants to have his own restaurant. Marco is a model with a full agenda in Italy and in the Philippines.

He will join other 40 candidates competing for the title Mister Supranational 2018, on December 8th, in Krynica-Zdroj.

Mister Supranational Puerto Rico 2018

The election of Mister Supranational Puerto Rico 2018 happened in San Juan, on November 4th, and the winner was Jose Alfredo, 27 years old. 1.82 m-tall.

Jose has a degree in Finance and works for the government of Puerto Rico. He is also a model who speaks Spanish and English. He tells us that soon he is going to have his own business, a nutrition and health gastronomy center.

Mister Supranational Puerto Rico is also a singer and song writer.

He will be in Poland starting on 25th to compete in Mister Supranational 2018. The final gala event will take place on December 8th, live from Krynica Zdroj.

Mister Supranational 2018: find out details about this year´s competition!

On November 25th Mister Supranational 2018 kicks off, with the big final happening on December 8th, in Krynica Zdrój, Poland. It will be the competition´s 3rd edition. The Mister Supranational 2018 title will be disputed by nearly 40 young, ambitious and athletic men from around the world, from South to North América, from the African continent to Europe, from Asia to the Pacific islands!

They will compete not only for the prestigious title, but also for a US$ 12,000 cash prize and other gifts and traveling worth nearly USD 20,000! The final show will be choreographed by the one and only Polish dancer and television star Tomasz Barański (yes, he is back!).

The great Tomasz Barański is back!

It will be hosted by the presenter Ola Jordan, a dancer known from the British edition of "Dance with the Stars", Tanic z Gwiazdami, a judge in Poland´s "Dance with the Stars", Polish actress Aleksandra Szwed and Ivan Podrez, a talented Belarusian TV presenter.

The candidates will compete in formal wear, casual wear and in the traditional swimwear competition. They will walk the runway wearing Claudius Scissor collection, by designer Claudius.

The event will start off with some hot and handsome pirates invading the stage! The temperature will raise even more with great performances by Natalia Szroeder, Monika Urlik and Miss Supranational 2011 and pop star Monika Lewczuk. The jury will include the newly elected Miss Supranational 2018 (she will be crowned the night before) and last year's winner Gabriel Correa of Venezuela.

Beautiful and talented: Miss Supranational 2011 and pop sensation Monika Lewczuk will perform on the stage of Mister Supranational 2018.

"It was a fantastic year in my life", said Gabriel Correa from Venezuela, Mister Supranational 2017. "I visted countries like Korea, Vietnam, USA and Brazil, and met many wonderful people along the way. I will always be grateful to the Mister Supranational organization".

Before the 40 delegates hit the Mister Supranational stage, they will face a series of challenges in beautiful Szczawnica Zdrój. Hosted by the Thermaleo Group - Spa Szczawnica, they will take part in photo sessions, film material productions, and compete in thematic competitions.

On December 1, the preliminary competition will take place at the Dwór Gościnny.

Mister Supranational New Caledonia 2018

For the second consecutive year, New Caledonia, a special collectivity of France in the southwest Pacific Ocean, will compete in Mister Supranational. Mister Supranational New Caledonia 2018 is Kevin Aubry, 23, 1.74 m-tall, from Nouméa.

Currently working as a merchandiser at a French supermarket in Nouméa, Mister Supranational New Caledonia enjoys playing basketball and football and wants to join his country´s air forces as a fighter pilot.

He believes that nothing in life comes easy, but with determination he can achieve his dreams and goals.

On December 8th, he will try to become Mister Supranational 2018, in Poland.

Mister Supranational United States 2018

The Mister Supranational United States 2018 pageant recently took place in Los Angeles and the winner was Mister Supranational New Mexico, Nicholas Kotselas. Nicholas is 25 years old, 1.93 m-tall, speaks three languages and is a model and a successful restaurateur.

He runs his family’s Greek restaurant, Olympic Cafe, in San Diego, Califórnia, with the utmost dedication and drive, which translates into everything he sets his mind to. Aside from this, he is a professional model and an avid fitness enthusiast.

Nicholas is now getting prepared to represent the US at Mister Supranational 2018, from November 25th to December 8th.

The Mister Supranational USA 2018 pageant was held on Oct.30, 2018 at the Theatre West in Los Angeles, California.

Mister Supranational Japan 2018

Jiro Matsumoto, 20, 1.81 m-tall, is Mister Supranational Japan 2018. Jito lives in Tokyo and he is a student of Liberal Arts at the Temple University Japan.

Mister Supranational Japan plays soccer and in the future he wants to study Sports Marketing in order to help Japanese athletes to get well positioned in the international market.

Jiro was actually born in Bangkok, Thailand, when his family was living there. He says that having been brought up in an international environment has helped him to understand better the perspectives and points of view of people in his same age range, no matter where they are from.

He will be joined by representatives of other 40 countries in the search for the title Mister Supranational 2018, on December 8th, in Poland.

Mister Supranational Sri Lanka 2018

Tymeron Carvalho, 27 years old, 1.84 m-tall, from Colombo, is Mister Supranational Sri Lanka 2018.

With an advanced diploma in fashion design, Tymo, as he likes to be called, speaks three languages. He has created he´s own brand, which is Tymeron Carvalho, and also works as a part-time model.

An art lover, Mister Supranational Sri Lanka is into painting, scupting, dancing and buiding costumes. Here goes an interesting piece of curiosity: he created the national costume worn by Miss Supranational Sri Lanka and 3rd runner-up at the international competition, Ornella Gunesekere!

He also does counselling for people who faces psychological issues caused by LGBT discrimination.

Tymo will joing other 40+ national titleholders in the search for the Mister Supranational 2018 title, on December 8th, live from Krynica-Zdroj, Poland.
